Each Callaway X-22 Irons is cut with the company's Precision Notch Weighting (heel and toe weights), which balances center of gravity and kick-point. Callaway maximized the perimeter weighting of the X-22s to create a moment of inertia (MOI) that's 10 percent higher than earlier versions, giving you more leeway on off-center strikes. This boosts the club's overall forgiveness and stability, while still maintaining the center-of-gravity position that produces an ideal trajectory and feel.
The X-22s Variable Face Thickness (VFT) technology, meanwhile, maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting to create even more distance and forgiveness. Golf Clubs for Sale And a crucial improvement comes in the form of the S2H2 design, a patented technology that shortens the length of the hosel, allowing the weight to be moved lower and to the more useful perimeter area of the clubhead.
Callaway also add 360-Degree Undercut Channel--which maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the center of gravity even lower and farther back--and you have a club that hits the ball far and straight even on rough swings.Statistics: Posted by xcl — Tue Dec 20, 2011 5:28 am
