The inspiring story of a rags to riches entrepreneur was recently told by a Swaziland entrepreneur. Mashwama, the managing director and founder of BNM Technology and Consultants, moved from a turnover of E1 million in 2002 to over E16 million presently. His projection is a E120 million turnover in 2008, something he told the gathering was not impossible.

Mashwama is amongst managers who left SEB unceremoniously at the start of the millennium after falling out with his employers. This was after he established a telecommunications company that was viewed as a competitor to the parastatal. His testimony, which caused Minister of Economic Planning and Development Rev Absalom Dlamini to move uncomfortably in his seat, was meant to challenge aspiring Christian entrepreneurs to engage in business and not give up no matter the risks.
